US Drivers
Yes, US citizens can rent a car in Greece with a regular US driving licence. You will need to:

Yes, insurance is essential, and in our opinion, full cover is worth paying for. The lovely old town of Parikia is filled with traditional whitewashed houses, blue shutters and a maze of narrow pedestrian lanes. If you want to understand more about the island’s history, visit the Archeological Museum of Paros or the Byzantine church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani, also known as the Church of the Virgin Mary.
Take a walk along the lively waterfront promenade, and in around 10 minutes you’ll reach Livadia Beach. Continue for another 10 minutes on foot and you’ll arrive at Parikia Beach; both beaches offer sunbeds and umbrellas for rent.
